Hi, I’m Tamara! I am an underwater and nature/landscape photographer with a passion for capturing the wild beauty of our planet above and below the waterline. My journey into photography started as a fun and relaxing hobby—just me, my camera, and a deep love for the ocean and natures beauty. What began as simple images on a compact camera soon turned into a deep passion for capturing the vast beauty of our amazing planet.

It all began years ago by sharing my travel and underwater images with friends and on social media. What I didn’t expect was how quickly this passion would turn into something much bigger to me. I became a divemaster, and later a scuba diving instructor who specializes in underwater photography. My social media platforms became a place for like-minded image makers and nature lovers to connect and admire one another’s art.

I have had the privilege of traveling the world, from the Caribbean islands, the Galapagos, Egypt, the Philippines, Indonesia and so much more. Whether it’s teaching about underwater photo techniques, mastering camera settings, or waiting patiently for the perfect moment with your favorite underwater critter or animal, I love helping others elevate their underwater photography skills and experience the magic of the underwater world through their images.

Underwater photography is more than just taking pictures—it’s about storytelling, adventure, and connecting with the beauty of our planet. Through my one on one photo coaching sessions at the Blue Heron Bridge, and future underwater photo workshops, my goal is to inspire and equip underwater photographers of all levels to push their creative boundaries, capture images they’re truly proud of, and respect and protect the delicate marine ecosystems.
